TALIA KOLESNIKOWICZ
FOUNDER/CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Teaching - Tiny Tots, Tiny Stars, Open Heels, Adult Dance, 10&U Combo and Competition Troupes

Talia’s involvement in the performing arts began at the ripe old age of two and has been involved in various dance and movement styles over the years. Talia has won many State and National titles as both a soloist and within teams over the 16 years of her Calisthenics career.
​
At the age of 7, she underwent training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Singing and Acting at The Mighty Good Talent School where she developed her confidence and performance skills. At 8 years of age, she played the role of ‘Marta’ in the National Tour of The Sound of Music.
​
At age 13, Talia was fortunate enough to have played ‘Missy’ in the feature film Hey Hey it’s Esther Blueburger. Talia has also competed in many State and National winning Hip Hop teams from the years 2004-2016 and this is where her love for Hip Hop was developed both as a teacher and student.​​
Throughout 2011, she played ‘Cinderella’ in the pantomime Cinderella, and travelled to Singapore to perform in a cabaret show Christmas with an OC Attitude.​ In 2012, she hosted Alvin and the Chipmunks, and The Lorax, both which were performed in shopping centres all over Adelaide. Talia also played ‘The Princess’ in the pantomime Aladdin and The Magic Lamp, and ‘Cinderella’ in Cinderella’s Birthday.​
In 2014 Talia became apart of the Australian Children’s Entertainment group called ‘Boomstars’, where they have performed to thousands of children all over Australia. Some highlights include being nominated for an Independent Music Award, Channel 9 Easter Appeal, Tindal RAAF Base performance, NYE Macquay Queensland just to name a few.

Talia has been a successful coach and performer winning multiple state and national competitions in all age categories in Jazz, Hip Hop and Contemporary. She has choreographed for corporate events, productions, pantomimes, The Boomstars children's entertainment group, and music video clips Australia wide.​
​
For the past ten years, Talia has been teaching many different styles of dance to children of all ages, and her love and passion for developing her student’s skills and appreciation for the art is continually blooming. Through her extensive work with children Australia wide as an entertainer and teacher, Talia has always strived to think creatively and push boundaries. She is enthusiastic about her students development and ensures that her classes are always challenging, fun and extremely rewarding.

In 2016, Talia started developing the concept of Jump and Jive where she wanted to promote fitness, dance and singing abilities, and individuality in children. Working in this industry she could see the benefits that children were exposed to when participating in dance and singing classes. She wanted to provide children the best start in life by developing life-long skills and positive mindset.

Talia's vision for Jump and Jive is a company that is creative, educational but most of all has a positive impact on children’s lives so they can grow to have confidence, higher self-esteem and their own unique individuality as they embark on life's journey.
ABBEY HARBY
Teacher - Contemporary, Ballet, Tap, 6&U Combo, Mini Acro and Competition Troupes
Abbey Harby embarked on her dance journey at the age of 3 at GSD, honing her craft and beginning her teaching journey at the youthful age of 17. Growing up, she found immense joy and fulfillment as a children's entertainer, captivating audiences in shopping centers, at Adelaide Fringe events, and numerous gatherings from the age of 15.
​
Driven by a pursuit of excellence, Abbey achieved a Certificate IV at Adelaide College of the Arts—a pivotal step in refining her craft. Her attraction to contemporary dance led her to Sydney, where she pursued a Diploma in Elite Performance at Brent Street Studios. It was here that her passion for contemporary dance flourished, capturing her heart and fueling her artistic fire.
Alongside her academic pursuits, Abbey delved into the world of performance, refining her skills through captivating showgirl gigs and seizing opportunities to expand her knowledge base.

Eager to broaden her understanding, Abbey embarked on a transformative short course, absorbing invaluable lessons from esteemed choreographers and dancers both nationally and internationally, enriching her repertoire and perspective. In 2022, she earned a spot on the esteemed Roosters cheerleading team, an electrifying experience that further fueled her dedication to performance and movement.

Returning home to Adelaide in 2022, Abbey now channels her diverse experiences into her studies, recently graduating from her Bachelor of Creative Arts (Dance) at Adelaide College of the Arts. Every step she takes, every performance she brings to life, stands as a testament to her unyielding commitment to the artistry of dance and the joy it brings to both herself and those who witness it.


IMOGEN COX
Teaching - 8&U Combo, Mini Acro, 8&U Competition Troupe
Imogen began her dance journey at the age 4 at Gaynor’s School of Dancing. She has been a competitive dancer in all genres including Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acro, Ballet, Hip hop, and Musical Theatre.
Imogen started competitive cheerleading at the age of 4 and has since returned to a level 3/4 team.
Dance has been a major factor of Imogen’s life since she started, training 5-6 days a week on top of being a part of her school’s dance academy. Imogen is a very dedicated student and has a passion for teaching upcoming talent.
As a soloist, Imogen has won multiple modern championships, a scholarship for Lee Academy, Scimm Dance award, most promising dancer, outstanding performer, student of the year, highest point scoring solo, and multiple aggregate awards.
Imogen has competed in many national competitions and won multiple winning titles in teams and as a soloist. She has also been awarded top 5 champion dancer at Jump Nationals and been awarded 1st for Evolution top 10 at regionals.
Imogen began teaching 2 years ago and is looking forward to teaching the younger generation, passing on skills she has learnt throughout her own training. Imogen will encourage her students to their best versions of themselves and create an environment where everyone feels welcome and safe.
KARA RASCIOLO
Teaching - Acrobatics

​Kara is a dynamic performer and coach with 25 years of experience in dance, calisthenics, and circus arts.
Starting her training at just 2 years old in dance and calisthenics, and 6 in circus; she has honed a wide range of skills across multiple disciplines. Kara’s expertise spans Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tumbling, Duo/Group Acrobatics, Contortion, Aerials (Silks, Lyra, Trapeze), and Hand Manipulation (Juggling, Hula, Stilts, Spinning Plates, Poi, and more).
Kara began her teaching career at 11 as an assistant, then leading her own classes by the age of 17. She continued her education in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Arts (Ballet and Contemporary) from AC Arts. In addition to her formal education, Kara has performed in numerous shows, and Adelaide Fringe performances. She has been part of Hip Hop competitive crews that have earned several titles across Australia. Most recently, in 2024, Kara had the honour of performing as the Special Guest Hip Hop Crew at Danchella on the Gold Coast with the “Us Programme.”
Excited for the year ahead, Kara will begin coaching at Jump and Jive in 2025, where she will focus on developing the Acrobatics Program. She looks forward to sharing her passion, experience, and skills with the next generation of performers.


NADA RAMESA-ZERELLA
Teaching - Hip Hop and Pom

Nada began her dance journey at the age of 3, undergoing calisthenics and ballet training. At 21 years old, she is now highly trained in various dance genres, with jazz, hip hop and tap being her strongest and most preferred styles to perform and teach.
Nada’s love for performing bloomed when she began competing at a very young age, winning multiple awards including State and National titles. Nada’s experience extended from the competition stage at an older age, where she underwent numerous gigs for Ding Productions, performing at the BBL on New Year’s Eve, the AFLW Grand Final, as well as various corporate events, just to name a few. She also completed her year 12 SACE in Dance with an A+ score.
Nada’s teaching journey began at 17 years old, where her passion for educating the art of dance and mentoring students to grow not only as athletes, but people, was actioned. In 2021, Nada earned a spot on the NBL Adelaide 36ers cheerleading team, an amazing experience which broadened her networks in the performance industry and further fuelled her passion.
In addition to teaching, Nada is now taking her extensive knowledge and skill expertise through to professional work in the dance and events industry around South Australia. She is an active participant of Bellarouge, an agency specialising in dance/modelling for events.
Nada brings her kind, determined and bubbly personality, alongside her passion and expertise in dance to Jump and Jive Entertainment for the first time in 2025. She ensures to pass on skills she has gained through her training, and push students towards upmost success, whilst enhancing their love for dance.
LETICIA MONAGHAN
STUDIO MANAGER
Teaching - Acting, Singing, Stagecraft​

Leticia began her performing arts life at a vibrant 3 years of age at the Johnny Young Talent School here in Adelaide.
With a keen love of the stage, her mother enrolled her in Calisthenics where she competed in and won many State and National titles in team and soloist capacities.
Leticia also studied Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Singing and Acting at both the Might Good Talent School (where she was awarded Student of the Year) and Ann Peters Acting School, where her love for the arts continued. Leticia's credits during this time included musicals, plays, television and film, featuring as Cynthia in 'Hey Hey It's Esther Blueburger', 'Brundibar', 'Teen Dream' the Musical, and many local performances such as the Tour Down Under, Variety SA, and the Credit Union Christmas Pageant.
After suffering a snapped achilles at 17, Leticia's attention pivoted to the world of acting.
​
At 20, Leticia was accepted into the full time program at HB Studio in New York. After completing her training, Leticia returned to Australia in Melbourne and furthered her study at 16th Street Actors Studio with Kerry Armstrong, and Kim Krejus. Leticia has also had the privilege of working with master teachers Larry Moss (Leonardo Di Caprio, Hilary Swank), Elizabeth Kemp (Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga), Carl Ford (Susan Batson Studio) and Carol Rosenfeld (HB Studio).

Leticia continued to work in various Theatre, Television and Film Projects during her time in Melbourne.
​
Leticia has loved working with the students at Jump and Jive in 2024, and is looking forward to witnessing their growth. in 2025.


LEONA DAVIDSON
ADMINISTRATION / CUSTOMER SERVICE / COSTUME COORDINATOR
Teacher - Technique
​
Leona has an extensive background in Calisthenics and Technique at both State and National level. Following her career in Calisthenics, she took up teaching where she honed both her skills, and her keen eye for detail.
​
Leona also spent 20 years in the modelling industry, where she worked professionally both in Adelaide and overseas. She taught catwalk and deportment for many years nurturing the next generation of models at the Tanya Powell Modelling Agency.
​
Leona then took on a somewhat full-time role as a Calisthenics and Dance mum to both Talia and Leticia, nurturing them through their dance journeys.
​
In 2025, Miss Leona will be your go to for all administration and general enquiries. She will be the friendly face operating FOH for all of our lessons.
